Die Gibbs Lecture der American Mathematical Society ist ein jährlich vergebener Mathematikpreis, der nach Josiah Willard Gibbs benannt ist. Mit dem Preis werden nicht nur Mathematiker, sondern auch Physiker, Chemiker, Biologen, Mediziner und andere Wissenschaftler (wie der Nationalökonom Samuelson) ausgezeichnet. Mit dem Preis werden Anwendungen der Mathematik gewürdigt.

Der Preisträger hält eine Vorlesung, die im Bulletin of the American Mathematical Society veröffentlicht wird.
